Dear Hubby,

35 years ago, when I was fifteen years old, God brought me to you, just as He did Eve to Adam. This morning I realized if He did not, chances are we wouldn't meet in such an intimate way thus fall in love. There seemed no reason to do so.
Just moments before we met, we had no idea what was about to occur, it was a surprise to us.

As I reflect, I see more and more how He did bring us together, 2 people you would never think would bond and be soul mates at such an early age, from such opposite cultures and places, and through many years of changes that usually separate couples, rather than bind them.

To say I love you seems too trivial. To say thank you is just as bad. Maybe that is why we dont say it as often as others do?

As I am in awe of God everyday, when I see the sunset, hear the birds in our back yard sing, so I am of Him who gave you to me and continues to watch over us and offer His love to us every moment of the day.

Anniversaries are good, because I do often take you for granted. So, today it reminds me to say Thanks to God, Thanks to you for loving me and to treasure every single moment I have you with me on earth.
